It is my opinion that the wider stock axle on the '83 combined with a 12.50 tire might rub with only the 2.5 lift. Tj 4 lift on 33 mtz tires open diffs, camp nl 2013 on.

It’s a mopar 4” with 285/75r16. If you get a bit of rubbing a washer under the steering stops will fix it.

Even from stock to 33 made my truck have higher gears. I'm at stock height an have 33s if i lifted it 4 i think the tires would look a little small.

I Wanted Bigger Tires Anyways But.

For bs, 3.75 or 4 works with 33x12.5 tires, if you run 10.5 tires then the stock rims (5 bs on rubis)should work. The first & second pics are before the bilsteins and you can see a slight rake still. Yes, 2 lift is all you need to run 35's.
